Holiday Greetings from Brite Star
It was in 1932 that the Brite Star brand name was born and, along with the symbolic trademark star, would adorn the packages of Christmas decorations, ornaments and tree accessories that the company was importing from many countries. With the acquisition of two garland-making tub machines in 1947, the manufacturing side of the business was launched. Over the years, Brite Star has grown into one of the largest manufacturers of holiday decorations in the world.
While the packaging has changed and the Brite “star” has taken on different shapes, the company has continued its proud tradition of producing quality Christmas lighting and decorating products, with the focus always on creating the most innovative products for holiday decorating.
What had begun at the turn of the 20th century as a distributor of novelties and sundries, the family-owned business, now in its fourth generation, remains one of the largest Christmas companies. Today it still proudly manufactures its signature product, icicles, as it has been doing for more than 60 years.
While still offering the traditional and retrospective looks of its tinsel icicles for a completely new generation of buyer, the company is ever looking ahead. Today it employs the latest technology in its line of LED lighting products, wireless LED candles and, most recently, its patent pending line of battery operated LED holiday decorations for door and windows.
With an awareness of the environmental and ecological issues that face us today, Brite Star has launched a commercial line of eco-friendly holiday decorating products, focusing on energy saving LED lighting products for the commercial decorator. As we have done for more than 75 years, Brite Star continues to bring quality and innovative holiday products from our family to yours.
